## Connect in three steps

1. **Mint a read-only credential in Slack.** Create a dedicated user or token that can only read. An allowlist of channel, history, search and user reads; the posting tool never passes the allowlist.
2. **Add it in the Triagic portal.** Integrations, then Add shared data source, then Slack. Fill in: Slack token (required): Slack app → OAuth & Permissions. Prefer a user token (xoxp-) with search:read. Bot tokens (xoxb-) cannot search messages at all.
