> Zendesk in Triagic: Look up tickets, users, and organizations. Read-only, with a credential you configure.

## What you can ask

- Pull the Zendesk record for this customer and summarise the last three interactions
- In Zendesk, has anyone else reported this since Monday?
- Which Zendesk tickets from this account are still open, and who owns them?
- Does Zendesk show a refund or a failed payment for order 8812?
- What did the customer say in the Zendesk thread before this ticket was filed?

## What the agent can do

- `list_tickets`
- `get_ticket`
- `search_tickets`
- `list_ticket_comments`
- `list_users`
- `get_user`
- `list_organizations`
- `list_groups`
- `list_articles`
- `get_article`
- `search_articles`
- `list_sections`
- `list_categories`

## Connect in three steps

1. **Mint a read-only credential in Zendesk.** Create a dedicated user or token that can only read. No write block upstream: an allowlist of ticket, comment and user read tools, and a read-only agent token.
2. **Add it in the Triagic portal.** Integrations, then Add shared data source, then Zendesk. Fill in: Subdomain (required): Just the subdomain: for https://acme.zendesk.com that is “acme”.; Agent email (required): The agent account the API token was created under. The two must match.; API token (required): Admin Center → Apps and integrations → Zendesk API → Add API token. API token access must be enabled there first.
3. **Let a desktop pick it up.** Saving validates the shape of what you typed. The first desktop app to sync starts Zendesk locally and reports running or degraded with the error text.

## Read-only, by construction

No write block upstream: an allowlist of ticket, comment and user read tools, and a read-only agent token.

## FAQ

**Can Triagic change anything in Zendesk?**
No. No write block upstream: an allowlist of ticket, comment and user read tools, and a read-only agent token. Give it a read-only credential as well, so the guarantee does not rest on one layer.

**What do I need to connect Zendesk?**
Subdomain, Agent email, API token. The desktop app on a member's machine starts the connection; the portal never holds a live process.

**Does Zendesk cost extra?**
No. Every connector is included in the seat price. Start a 14-day trial without a card.
