Getting started
The five-minute path from download to your first answered ticket.
The desktop app is where you actually work. If someone has already set up your organization, this whole section is everything you need.
Install
Download and install the app for macOS, Windows or Linux.
Sign in with the email and password your admin gave you. On first launch the app links this machine to your organization and pulls down its configuration.
Wait for the first sync
Playbooks and shared data sources arrive within a minute. The Integrations page should show them as running with a non-zero tool count.
Open a ticket
Go to Tickets, pick one, and read the AI Investigation. If nothing has been triaged yet, hit Re-investigate on any ticket to run one now.
Ask a question
Open the Console and ask something in plain English — "has anything changed for merchant Acme Coffee in the last day?" — to see the agent work across every system it can reach.
The sidebar, top to bottom
| Page | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Tickets | The inbox. Incoming tickets, their status, and the root cause once triaged. |
| Console | Free-form questions across every connected system. Not tied to a ticket. |
| History | Every conversation you are part of — your Console threads and any ticket chat you posted in. |
| Usage | LLM cost and latency for this install, with links back to what caused each call. |
| Integrations | Data sources. Your own, plus the ones your organization shares. |
| Playbooks | The triage profiles available to you. Read-only once your install is centrally managed — see Playbooks in the app. |
| AI Providers | LLM credentials. Admin-only. |
| License | Which plan this install is on, and the link between this machine and your account. |
Some pages will be read-only
If your organization manages this install centrally, playbooks, shared integrations and AI providers are edited in the web portal, not here. The app will tell you rather than silently discarding an edit.
What runs where
The app runs the investigations on your machine, using credentials stored on your machine. Your databases and internal services never need to be reachable from the internet — only from the laptop or workstation the app is installed on. If you are on a VPN to reach production, Triagic needs that VPN too.
