Reports
Reading scheduled playbook reports, watching a run as it works, and asking follow-up questions.
A report is a playbook's standing brief, run on a schedule. Every run lands on the Reports page as a new edition, so the Console stays for the questions you ask yourself. Schedules are set on a playbook; see Playbooks in the app.
Finding a report
The left rail lists one series per playbook, newest first. Each series shows its cadence (for example Every weekday at 09:00 (Asia/Kolkata)) and its latest editions:
- an amber dot marks an edition nobody on this computer has opened yet
- running and failed say so on the row
- a speech-bubble count shows how many follow-up questions it has
The Reports row in the sidebar counts unread editions, and mark N read at the top of the rail clears them. Inside a report, the arrows next to edition 7 of 8 step to the previous or next edition of the same series.
A playbook that is scheduled but has not produced a report yet still gets a row, with the time its first report is due.
Watching a run
Open a report while it runs and What the agent is doing shows the brief, the agent's plan and each tool call as it happens, the same trace the Console shows. The report replaces the placeholder when the agent finishes, and the trace folds into How this report was made, which you can open again at any time to see every query and result behind the report.
A failed run keeps whatever the agent got through, under How far it got, next to the error.
You do not have to watch. When a report finishes you get the sound and desktop notification set in Settings, and the finished report is added to the bell in the header. This covers scheduled runs too, as long as the app is open.
Follow-up questions
Ask below a finished report and the answer appears under it, with its own tool
calls. Follow-ups run under the same playbook and tool allowlist the report ran with,
and they are shared with everyone who can see the playbook. Type @ to scope a
question to one integration.
Copy, Email and Create issue work on the report itself and on each follow-up answer, as they do in the Console.
Run now and schedule
Admins see Run now and Schedule above the report. Run now starts a new
edition straight away and opens it; it is disabled while an edition of the same report
is already running. Runs use the organization's system identity and LLM credentials,
never an individual's key, and appear in Usage under playbook_report.
