Triagic + Freshdesk: ticket investigations over your business systems, read-only
Look up tickets, conversations, contacts, companies and knowledge base articles. Writes aren't exposed. Use an API key from an agent with a view-only role. Triagic connects to Freshdesk from the desktop app on each member's machine, with a credential you configure, and shows every call it makes while it investigates a ticket. Nothing is copied out of Freshdesk.
What you can ask
- Pull the Freshdesk record for this customer and summarise the last three interactions
- In Freshdesk, has anyone else reported this since Monday?
- Which Freshdesk tickets from this account are still open, and who owns them?
- Does Freshdesk show a refund or a failed payment for order 8812?
- What did the customer say in the Freshdesk thread before this ticket was filed?

Connect in three steps
- 1
Mint a read-only credential in Freshdesk
Create a dedicated user or token that can only read. No write block upstream: an allowlist of tools that only send GET requests, and an API key from a view-only agent.
- 2
Add it in the Triagic portal
Integrations, then Add shared data source, then Freshdesk.
- Helpdesk domain: Your Freshdesk address, like acme.freshdesk.com. Just “acme” works too. Not a custom support-portal domain.
- API key: Profile picture → Profile settings → View API key. It acts as that agent, so use an agent whose role can view tickets but not reply or edit.
- 3
Let a desktop pick it up
Saving validates the shape of what you typed. The first desktop app to sync starts Freshdesk locally and reports running or degraded with the error text.
Field-by-field setup, TLS options and the error table: Freshdesk in the docs.
Read-only, by construction
No write block upstream: an allowlist of tools that only send GET requests, and an API key from a view-only agent.
FAQ
- Can Triagic change anything in Freshdesk?
- No. No write block upstream: an allowlist of tools that only send GET requests, and an API key from a view-only agent. Give it a read-only credential as well, so the guarantee does not rest on one layer.
- What do I need to connect Freshdesk?
- Helpdesk domain, API key. The desktop app on a member's machine starts the connection; the portal never holds a live process.
- Does Freshdesk cost extra?
- No. Every connector is included in the seat price. Start a 14-day trial without a card.
