Triagic + Zendesk: ticket investigations over your business systems, read-only
Look up tickets, users, and organizations. Writes are not blocked. Use a token from a read-only agent role. Triagic connects to Zendesk from the desktop app on each member's machine, with a credential you configure, and shows every call it makes while it investigates a ticket. Nothing is copied out of Zendesk.
What you can ask
- Pull the Zendesk record for this customer and summarise the last three interactions
- In Zendesk, has anyone else reported this since Monday?
- Which Zendesk tickets from this account are still open, and who owns them?
- Does Zendesk show a refund or a failed payment for order 8812?
- What did the customer say in the Zendesk thread before this ticket was filed?
What the agent can do
These are the 13 tools Triagic exposes from the Zendesk MCP server. Anything else the server lists is dropped at connect time.
- list_tickets
- get_ticket
- search_tickets
- list_ticket_comments
- list_users
- get_user
- list_organizations
- list_groups
- list_articles
- get_article
- search_articles
- list_sections
- list_categories
Connect in three steps
- 1
Mint a read-only credential in Zendesk
Create a dedicated user or token that can only read. No write block upstream: an allowlist of ticket, comment and user read tools, and a read-only agent token.
- 2
Add it in the Triagic portal
Integrations, then Add shared data source, then Zendesk.
- Subdomain: Just the subdomain: for https://acme.zendesk.com that is “acme”.
- Agent email: The agent account the API token was created under. The two must match.
- API token: Admin Center → Apps and integrations → Zendesk API → Add API token. API token access must be enabled there first.
- 3
Let a desktop pick it up
Saving validates the shape of what you typed. The first desktop app to sync starts Zendesk locally and reports running or degraded with the error text.
Field-by-field setup, TLS options and the error table: Zendesk in the docs.
Read-only, by construction
No write block upstream: an allowlist of ticket, comment and user read tools, and a read-only agent token.
FAQ
- Can Triagic change anything in Zendesk?
- No. No write block upstream: an allowlist of ticket, comment and user read tools, and a read-only agent token. Give it a read-only credential as well, so the guarantee does not rest on one layer.
- What do I need to connect Zendesk?
- Subdomain, Agent email, API token. The desktop app on a member's machine starts the connection; the portal never holds a live process.
- Does Zendesk cost extra?
- No. Every connector is included in the seat price. Start a 14-day trial without a card.
